When you feel so all alone and you know your light is dim--
Turn your face toward the SON and let your heart seek Him.

Christmas Time Here at Home
Christmas brings so many wonderful feelings for me. We decorate like freight trains and then sit back and enjoy the beauty. Yes, these are pics of our living room that sings with Christmas cheer. I love the beautiful candlelight....it's so comforting.
We, however, have had a couple long days. One of the oldest ranch hands here passed away on Saturday morning. Dad will do the graveside tomorrow, and it's going to be hard for him.
Then we get an e-mail today saying that my best friend's (Sarah Clower for those who know her) grandad passed away on Saturday as well. This friend lost her dad when she was little....and Anna and I were with her then. Now her dad's dad has passed and it is really hard for her.
On top of that, an old friend of Dad's has cancer and is not expected to live but a few more days, if he has not already passed away.
So many deaths, so many funerals, so close to the birth of Christ. It's not that it's really hard, but I hurt for those who will always remember the holidays as the time they lost someone so special to them.
Please pray for the Hollowell Family, the Clower Family, and the Elliot Family as they struggle during this time.
Please pray for Dad also as the next few days are going to really work on him emotionally. He's losing some real friends.... we covet your prayers.
Life goes by so fast. Enjoy today--love your family--thank God for each new day He allows you to live.
I hope to post more later....but for now I need to run. So much to do with so very little time...
In the service of the King,
God's Gal Sarah
