I suppose we'll take it as it comes! :-) Life keeps marching on. Midterms are basically over and I can breathe a sigh of relief. I am pulling a pretty good A in all my classes--though government requires so much of my time. Finals start the week of December 10th--not too far away as fast as the weeks fly. I will survive! (as if I had any choice) Next semester I hope to take photography with college algebra and who knows what else! Life moves on.....
I had my last dental work done on Wednesday. My gums were still trying to heal after the four other surgeries when the dentist crammed those bridge teeth into my mouth. He said I would hate him for a couple days. Boy was he right. I am a little sore, but so relieved for the work to be done. It has been five months in the making. I think I may have run a little fever yesterday. My speech teacher looked at me and asked if I had been getting some sun. He said I looked a little red in the face. I was not wearing makeup so of course my cheeks were red. Plus being a little warm, who wouldn't be noticeably "rosy?" He just did'nt need to ask in class. But oh well....
I have a new job working one day a week at the church library. Yesterday my assignment was to decorate for Thanksgiving and shelve the books, movies, etc. I could not believe it. I have about as much creativity as a 2x4--and she wanted me to decorate. But I had an absolute ball and it looked pretty good! If you ever make it to First Baptist Church, stop by and look at the display window. I'm excited about it!
Well, I must run for now...I hope your day is blessed!
In the service of the King...

Enjoyed your pictires of the "freeze." That first freeze is always a welcomed thing. It gets rid of the bugs and reduces allergies. I don't know what winters are like here. Right now you need a jacket in the evenings and mornigs and we have to run the heaters at night. But in the afternoon we are turning on the AC. There are desert palms and some bushes and plants still have flowers on them. I doubt we will see the kind of "freezes" we are used to at home.
