DON'T BE AFRAID

Have you ever felt like you are surrounded by fears you can neither explain nor seem to escape? I know I have. Moments like these cause my heart to worry and shrink in fear. A quote from FACING THE GIANTS says it well: "Sounds like your fear is about to clobber your faith." I know that so often my eyes waver from the Savior and I start sinking in the waves of doubt.

Did you also know that we are told 365 times in the Bible to not be afraid? When you compare that number to the days in a year, we are told not to be afraid once for each day of each week of each month--forever. :-)

I don't know what God is choosing to put in your path right now. For me it is college enrollment in the morning. *by the way, you could pray for me!*

When I know that I should not fear I also have to hold on to the promise, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Be encouraged that God Almighty never sleeps or slumbers. I know I am!

Be blessed this day, dear reader. Rest in the knowing that we never leave His grasp.
