When you feel so all alone and you know your light is dim--
Turn your face toward the SON and let your heart seek Him.

.::Busy Days and Searching Hearts::.
AAAAAAAA! I know that it's been a long time since I last posted--things just seem to get busier and busier around here. What all has happened, you ask?
1.) Anna had her sweet 16th birthday. Mom took her shopping on the big day and then we all met together to watch Chonda Pierce in concert that night in Amarillo. It was a HUGE surprise for Anna, who did not expect that present at all. Then, the day after Anna's birthday, Sarah Clower came from Benjamin, TX to surprise her again. I think Anna had a blast and a "sweet" time for her 16th birthday.
2.) I quit piano. *Keep breathing, People.* Things have just gotten so crazy around here and I rarely found time to practice like I needed to. As it turned out, it was almost a waste of money if I did not work on the music before me...so through much prayer, I opted to give it up. I don't think Mom is too thrilled with it all, but she has been so supportive of the decision.
3.) Geometry....AAAAAAA~ When will I EVER have to do proofs for everyday life?!? I mean, I see figuring shapes and perimeters...but PROOFS! I bombed my last test over the aggravating topic and the rest of the book is based on proofs. How frustrating is that? As it turns out, Anna and I have what feels like so little time to do the class, and when you combine that with a boring video teacher, we aren't crazy about Geometry at all. But we still have to do it. *sigh*
4.) Zoology continues on. I have a test on Monday and I am so nervous. We can fill a 3x5 notecard front and back with notes so I got my "fine tip pen" and highlighters and crammed that notecard so full that I'm afraid it'll be more of a hindrance than a help. Just pray for wisdom for me as I work on this class.
5.) Research Writing class is actually gonna stretch me. We are laying the foundation for an entire sememster of research for a 15-20 pg double spaced research paper. I know that I will find myself sitting in a library very soon. *oh joy* I suppose that my consolation is that I actually LIKE to write. :-)
6.) College Algebra is...well...interesting. We are finishing up the review and beginning the hard work after the test on Monday. I can already tell I'm gonna have to work HARD in the class. But, that's any class...
7.) ACT and SAT tests loom before me. I have the hopes of doing lots of review before they come up...but that's another thing on the list! I DO NOT like standardized testing. It makes me feel dumb and less than adequate. Although, I know neither is true.
8.) Our summer is so up in the air. Anna and Mom are probably going to a Fine Arts camp in North Carolina sometime in June. The church is probably going to pay for most of their way since Anna is in the praise band. There she will learn new violin techniques and how to praise the Lord with her instrument and talent. I am excited for her. We had talked about me going, but it is looking more and more like I won't go. That is another matter of prayer....
There are so many plans but each plan takes money and time....both necessities disappear so quickly.
Please keep us in your prayers as we take our plans before the Lord. He knows the big picture...we don't. We need His wisdom desparately.
9.) Last thing before I must run....my car is in the shop for the fender repair. It's gonna cost me about $1000.49 to repair two fenders! Thus the reason I kinda need to work some this summer to build back my savings after that!
I do have a wonderful lesson to share with you all...but it will have to wait until maybe tomorrow!
Because He lives,
God's Gal Sarah
