I have not posted in several weeks. Don't shoot me--i've been so busy! Want in on what's been happening? Glad you asked....
I'M THROUGH WITH GOVERNMENT! Yes, Amy Brown and I went out and celebrated with lunch at JT's as soon as the final was taken. I also had my English final on Tuesday so I had double reason to rejoice. Tomorrow is my Speech final and then I can get down to the Christmas cooking. I wish you could see the joy on my face! I like college O.K., but it's not my favorite thing to do.
We are enjoying the cold weather. I like warmer weather fine, but there's just something about a cold wet day. A cold wet day with no major school. A cold wet day with no major school and a beautiful Christmas tree. A cold wet....well, you get the idea! :-)
The family is doing pretty good. Anna is schooling to beat the band. She's trying to get caught back up from interruptions with surgeries and Dr.'s visits....you know how it goes.
She and I played a duet on Sunday morning. It went pretty well. I goofed only one part (which I don't think I'd ever goofed before), though I don't think it hurt us too bad. I just had to remember to play for an audience of ONE. It didn't matter how the rest went. As long as God was glorified through our playing. *I bring an offering of worship to my King*
The church had it's Christmas contada on Sunday--Mom and I sang with the choir. Now that it's over, we'll enjoy a choir party and the liklihood of no more rehearsals until 2008.
We play handbells on the Sunday before Christmas. I suppose we are ready for that. Our handbell choir is really pretty neat~I'm blessed to be in it. You ought to come hear us play if you get the chance.
Our Christmas plans are interesting. Let's see if I can explain the possible number of people who could "wassil" with us.....
1. My brother David, wife Cristy, and 4 kiddos
2. Cristy's parents
3. Brother Cotton, wife Dawn, and son Spur
4. Dawn's parents
5. Mamaw and Papaw
Total possible people at our house (including our family) : 19
Now, we're not for sure if Cotton and Dawn will show....Mamaw and Papaw might not either. David and family might have to leave on Christmas Eve, and the weather might keep Dawn's parents away--thus leaving us with Cristy's parents and our four.
In other words: God is in control of how many show up for the Christmas holidays and when.
Isn't it kinda nice just waiting in His hand--trusting in His plan? I find peace in that....
I'll post this and then probably something else in a bit. I hope you feel caught up in our lives...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Glad you whizzed through the first semester so successfully. RE: Christmas... the more the merrier. Can I come too? :)
We were hoping to start home from California tomorrow, but doesn't look like it is going to happen. We are on hold, not knowing from one day to the next when we can head home. We may be pulling in right beside Santa. Who knows? So we all live with God alone in control of our days.
Blessings and Merry Christmas
Thank you Sarah dear for your prayers, they mean so much! Love you!!!
