It was truly an amazing weekend! I went to a homeschool young ladies conference at Three Falls Cove. You might say that I left feeling encouraged and uplifted in the Lord. It was GREAT to be around other homeschool girls who loved the Lord and sought to serve Him. I don't have pictures yet, but hopefully I will soon.
Thanksgiving is next week, in case you have forgotten. We were in the grocery store yesterday, and Mom said, " Are we ready to go?"
Me: "Mom, when are we going to get the turkey?"
Mom: "For what."
Me: "Mom, Thanksgiving is next week."
Mom: *with huge bugged eyes* "Oh yeah."
Anna: "You forgot?!?"
hehe..things have just been so busy that it sorta slipped Mom's mind.
Ok...if Thanksgiving is next week, then Christmas is just like five weeks away. *gasp--gasp--gasp* We are going to Lubbock this weekend to do some Christmas shopping, and to have a small breather before our Thanksgiving guests come in next Tuesday.
Well, I have homework to attend to, and I HAVE to practice piano today. Mrs. Forney said that I need to have one of my festival pieces ready before Christmas break....and I am a long way from being prepared!
